For the 2nd straight game, Chagrin lost in 8 innings.  This time, the Tigers lost 3-1 to Lake Catholic.  Will Graham started and pitched 4 innings.  Graham gave up 1 run on 1 hit while walking 4 and striking out 4.  Calvin Hill pitched 2.1 innings in relief.  Hill gave up no runs on 1 hit while walking 1 and striking out a batter.  Gavin Stevens took the loss and is 0-1 on the season.  Stevens gave up 2 runs, none earned, on 1 hit.  Stevens is now 0-1 on the season.  

Chagrin trailed 1-0 going into the bottom of the 5th inning when the Tigers tied the game.  Nick Calabrese reached base on a dropped 3rd strike.  After an out was made, Andrew Bazzone reached on an error and Calabrese moved to 2nd base.  Sven Nielsen was hit by a pitch to load the bases.  Donny Hardy followed with a sacrifice fly to left to bring home Calabrese for Chagrin’s only run of the game.  

Donny Hardy had the only hit for Chagrin.  Hardy was 1-2 with a double and an RBI.  Chagrin Falls is now 12-7 overall.
