Boys 7th Grade Basketball
Tonight is MS Night at the HS Boys Varsity Basketball Game. Hopefully everyone can go and support the team. All MS Players will get in free if they wear their Shooting Shirt.
We will have an End of the Year Awards Assembly Thursday after school. We will have pizza and celebrate our season. Please make plans to pick up your child around 3:45.
All players need to turn in their uniforms, shorts and both jerseys to Coach Johnson or Mr. Thombs. Please put the uniform in a plastic bag with your name on it. If you can have them in by Thursday that would be wonderful.
Dear Parents and Students,
I wanted to thank everyone for helping to make this season a successful and enjoyable one. It was very exciting to see you all come together in the final game of the season and play so well against West G on Saturday. This group has a lot of potential and I think Saturday showed you what you are capable of. Consequently, Friday against Kenston also showed everyone that we have a lot of work to do as well. This was a hard-working group and I am extremely confident that the students who chose to put the effort forth to improve their skills will be a huge part of the program in the years to come.
Again, I would like to thank everyone for all of the hard work in practice this year and I truly enjoyed working with each and every one of you.

"In the end, it's extra effort that separates a winner from second place. But winning takes a lot more that that, too. It starts with complete command of the fundamentals. Then it takes desire, determination, discipline, and self-sacrifice. And finally, it takes a great deal of love, fairness and respect for your fellow man. Put all these together, and even if you don't win, how can you lose?"-
Happy Monday! Our Picture Day has been canceled due to the Boys Football Team alive and well in the Division 3 Playoffs.
The Picture Day will be rescheduled. Look forward to seeing everyone tomorrow at home against the Kenston Bombers!

"Love the game. Love the game for the pure joy of accomplishment. Love the game for everything it can teach you about yourself. Love the game for the feeling of belonging to a group endeavoring to do its best. Love the game for being involved in a team whose members can't wait to see you do your best. Love the game for the challenge of working harder than you ever have at something and then harder than that. Love the game because it takes all team members to give it life. Love the game because at its best, the game tradition will include your contributions. Love the game because you belong to a long line of fine athletes who have loved it. It is now your legacy. Love the game so much that you will pass on your love of the game to another athlete who has seen your dedication, your work, your challenges, your triumphs... and then that athlete will, because of you, love the game."
Dear Parents and Students,
I would like to thank each and every player who tried out for the MS Basketball team this week. I saw an improvement from every player as the week progressed. I was very impressed with the effort and attitude of each student athlete.
I would like to congratulate the boys who made the team. I am expecting each of you to give me 100% effort each and every day. I am looking for you to grow every day as a player, leader and teammate. I am excited for the upcoming season and looking forward to working with each of you.
Unfortunately, there was not room for everyone who tried out for the team. I am hopeful that many of the young men who were not chosen for the team will continue to develop their skills in CAA. CAA is an awesome opportunity for players to improve their skills, as well as be the focal point of their team. I would hope that many of the players who tried out this week will make it a goal to be here next year for 8th grade tryouts.
Practice will be from 3:30 to 5:00 Monday through Thursday. All Friday practices will be from 3:00 to 4:30.
Any parents or students who would not like to get future emails can unsubscribe at the bottom of this email or on the website.
